We know you probably have some questions about our tours, so we thought we would do our best to answer them here.

How much walking is involved on a typical tour? How fit would you need to be?

It very much depends on the particular tour, some are more active than others, though all are accessible to anyone of average fitness. Each tour gives details of lengths of walks and types of terrain but if you aren't sure please don't hesitate to contact us and we can help you out. We take things easy and make plenty of rest stops …..our aim is that each tour is an enjoyable experience, not a test of endurance.

What do I need to bring to the tour?

This will vary to a degree with the tour but as a basis, sturdy shoes which are comfortable for walking in, a waterproof coat, warm clothing and of course,a camera, If you need anything extra for a particular tour we will always send out a list once we've received your booking.

Where will I be staying on the tour?

For Brecon based tours, the primary accommodation provider will be The Castle Hotel, a 3* Georgian hotel set amongst the ruins of the 11th century Brecon castle and overlooking the Brecon Beacons. However on some dates accommodation may be provided in equivalent rated accommodation within the town. For any tours based elsewhere, accommodation will be on a bed and breakfast basis and will always be of a 3* standard or above.

Are your tours child friendly?

It would depend to a certain extent upon the tour, and to a degree, on the child/children's interests, Please ring us with your enquiry and we will be happy to advise on the relevant tour.
